Robert (Bob) Bunsa is an advisor with New Canaan Group and brings over 40 years of experience to his clients. He began his career with the Retirement Benefits Group, a specialized division of Equitable Advisors LLC in 1984. In 1994 Bob was inducted into the Equitable Hall of Fame, among the youngest advisors ever to achieve that distinction. In 1998 he was promoted to Vice President and District Manager, a position he held until 2010. Bob was responsible for recruiting, training and assisting new advisors on their successful career paths. His district was consistently recognized as one of the best performing districts nationally.
Bob works alongside high net worth individuals, many of whom are former educational professionals, providing them with his expertise in wealth accumulation, retirement planning, risk management strategies, estate planning and wealth preservation. Bob is committed to understanding the unique challenges his clients and their families face and prides himself on providing solutions to help meet their financial goals.
Bob serves on the finance committee of his local church. He resides in Pennington NJ with his wife Karen, and they have three adult children. Bob is a proud graduate of Susquehanna University. In his free time Bob enjoys skiing and spending time at the Jersey shore with his family.
