Ray believes that before anyone can feel comfortable sharing their goals and dreams, they need to get to know him. He is a graduate of Seton Hall University, a former educator, and Eagle Scout. Ray grew up in East Brunswick, New Jersey, before relocating to Ocean County in 2002, when he was married. Ray and his wife, Meredith, have two boys, RJ and Christopher. When not involved in their sons' various activities which include Scouts, football and basketball, they enjoy spending time at the aquarium, amusement parks, and of course, the Jersey Shore. Ray is an avid sports fan, with season tickets to the New York Jets. Although his family and his job keep Ray busy, he does enjoy playing a round of golf when the opportunity presents itself.

Ray believes that volunteering plays an important part in all of our lives and is a key ingredient to our overall happiness. He feels an importance on helping those brave men and women in our military and their families, and Ray tries to do this through his involvement in the Sons of the American Legion. In addition, Ray volunteers at his church, St. Luke's in Toms River, and serves as the Treasurer for the Knights of Columbus Council #4969.
