Michael L. Bleke began his career at Equitable Advisors after graduating from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He joined the Illinois Branch of Equitable Advisors in 2005 and quickly built a successful practice as a member of the Retirement Benefits Group. Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Michael developed a client-focused business serving more than 2,000 households and overseeing approximately $150 million in assets under management.

In 2011, Michael was promoted to Vice President, earning the Management Development Award in 2012 along with multiple Management Leadership Awards in recognition of his leadership and business growth.

In 2015, he was appointed Executive Vice President of the Kansas City Branch, where his leadership drove a dramatic turnaround—moving the branch from 43rd to 14th in the President’s Trophy rankings in his first year. In January 2017, Michael was named Executive Vice President of the Boston Branch, overseeing operations across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, and Maine. Under his leadership, the branch finished 5th in the President’s Trophy standings in 2017 and improved to 3rd in 2018.

Michael returned to the Illinois Branch in January 2019, where his continued leadership resulted in sustained top-tier performance. The branch placed in the Top 3 of the President’s Trophy in 2022, and by 2023, Michael had achieved seven consecutive President’s Trophy awards.

In 2025, Michael assumed the role of Senior Executive Vice President of the Atlantic Liberty Branch, overseeing New Jersey. In 2026, he was named President of the Mid-Atlantic Complex. In addition to his branch leadership roles, Michael served as National Co-Managing Director of the Retirement Benefits Group in 2023 and 2024 and spent seven years on the Executive Committee of the Honor Guard.

Michael resides in Jersey City, New Jersey, with his two French Bulldogs, Elly and Luna.
