Background, Focus Areas and Recognition:
Kristopher Taubald graduated from Colorado State University with a B.A. in Economics.
Prior to graduating, Kris interned on Wall Street with ABN AMRO, where he gained
valuable experience in the financial services industry.
Kris began his career in finance in 2000 with Merrill Lynch, where he worked as a
retirement services specialist as well as in the banking division. In 2004, Kris joined
Barclays Capital as a trading assistant on the U.S. Treasury repo desk. He has been with
Equitable since 2013.
As a financial representative, Kris helps clients to prioritize their goals, understand their
options, and strategize to help them attain a more secure financial future. Kris' goal is
to provide clients with financial independence and peace of mind. He integrates
unbiased investment guidance with the key planning disciplines of financial planning,
estate planning, and risk management. Kris ensures that he understands and identifies
clients’ needs, goals, and values, and then develops a plan that makes sense for them.
Personal:
A lifelong resident of New Jersey, Kris currently resides in Morris Plains with his wife,
Susan, and their children: Charlie and Henry. The family has welcomed a new dog into
their family, Brownie.
