Chris began his career on the audit staff of a “Big Eight” accounting firm in Philadelphia, where he earned his CPA license which he maintains today. After 3 years he transitioned to private industry working for a Fortune 200 company, initially in the Accounting Department but after two years moving to the Employee Benefits department within Human Resources. There, he served in several roles, but ultimately managed both the retirement plans and health & welfare programs for the 20,000 plus benefits eligible employees.
In 2008, Chris took his financial and employee benefits knowledge and began applying those skills to individuals by becoming a Financial Advisor. His focus has been on working with individuals and families, to gain a thorough understanding of their goals – retirement goals, legacy objectives, family protection, and any other client objectives - followed by identifying strategies and potential solutions to help attain them. Recognizing that the best plans are not worth much unless acted on, he then assists with implementing the agreed upon strategies. Chris takes an educational approach, as it is very important to him that clients understand the strategies, and are empowered to make informed decisions. Typically, a client relationship begins with the creation of a comprehensive financial plan, from which the strategies can then be built.
When not working with his clients, he enjoys spending time with his family (his wife and four children) and friends primarily participating in an outdoor activity – ideally hiking, biking or skiing. Chris and his family reside in Mount Laurel, NJ.
